4th TPM of the U-Mar Project in Pafos, Cyprus - June 2023
On Thursday, June 15th, the 4th Transnational Meeting of the U-MAR Erasmus+ Project convened in Pafos. This gathering served as a platform for our partners to assess our progress and strategize for the upcoming months.
Specifically, we delved into the intricacies of CEI·MAR's web platform development and the Phoenicians' Route's coordination of the creation of underwater archaeological heritage interpretation centers, key outcomes of our project.
During the afternoon session, participants had the privilege of exploring the remarkable Nea Pafos archaeological site, a UNESCO-designated treasure. The subsequent day, in the morning, our partners convened with the President of the Pafos Diving Centre Association. Subsequently, ARGO colleagues conducted filming at the Interpretation Centre and conducted insightful interviews with the Pafos Tourism Board team.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed partner, the Pafos Regional Board of Tourism, for their gracious hospitality and impeccable event organization.
Our next meeting is scheduled for September in Madeira, marking the project's final meeting.
The project, led by the Phoenicians’ Route – Cultural Route of the Council of Europe, is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
